Impossible Journey
Aster | A Maternal Health Company
The animation highlights the stark reality that Black women are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women, using two storks’ contrasting paths to illustrate the crisis—crafted from 3,200 hand-painted frames, the film was shown to U.S. Congress during Black Maternal Health Week to push for the long-stalled s.1606 Momnibus Act.
